Patkanim's Daughters: Julia, Margaret, Elizabeth, Susie and their Cross-cultural Marriages

Local historian Candace Wellman discusses her research on four Snoqualmie Valley indigenous women—daughters of leader Patkanim—who married colonizer men in the 1850s-60s. Wellman shares how these women shaped local communities but were left out of written histories, and will have copies of her book Interwoven Lives available.
