David Belisle is a self-taught analog photographer who got his start capturing the Grunge Movement in Seattle during the 1990s. He has toured with and photographed major artists including R.E.M., Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mudhoney, Fleet Foxes, Sinéad O'Connor, and Patti Smith. Since 2011, he has worked as Michael Stipe's studio manager in New York City.
Wade Madsen is a dancer, choreographer, and professor at Cornish College of the Arts since 1985, based in Seattle. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1955, he has been a fixture in Seattle's modern and contemporary dance scene since 1977, with over 180 choreographic works to his credit.
Alison Cockrill is a professional dancer and instructor who began formal dance training at age four and has been performing professionally since 1990. She specializes in modern dance, salsa, bachata, and waltz, having toured internationally with choreographers Wade Madsen and Pat Graney.

Haruko Nishimura is a Seattle-based director, performer, vocalist, and choreographer who founded the Degenerate Art Ensemble in 1993 with composer Joshua Kohl. Her visceral movement theater and dance work explores the relationship between audience and performance, creating transformative character-driven pieces that give voice to marginalized and iconic women through song, dance, and site-specific performance.
Degenerate Art Ensemble is a Seattle-based multi-art performance company founded in 1999 by dancer/director Haruko Nishimura and composer/conductor Joshua Kohl. Implied Violence is a Seattle-based performance art collective known for high-impact, multimedia works that blend theater, movement, and sound. Founded by Ryan Mitchell and others at Cornish College of the Arts, the group creates provocative performances and installations that push the boundaries of traditional theater, often incorporating elaborate costumes, props, and physical transformations.
Patti Smith is an American singer, songwriter, poet, painter, author, and photographer born in Chicago in 1946. Her 1975 debut album Horses established her as an influential figure in the New York City punk rock movement, fusing rock music with poetry.
