Summer Concerts at the Ballard Locks
Two jazz ensembles—Mach One Jazz Orchestra and Pacific Cascade Big Band—play swing standards and contemporary pieces at the Ballard Locks on Saturday, August 15. It's free, outdoors, and you can watch ships pass through a historic lock system while listening to live music, which is either the perfect Seattle afternoon or a decent excuse to revisit the fish ladder.

    Pacific Cascade Big Band

    The Pacific Cascade Big Band (PCBB) plays swing music from the big band era in the 1930's-1950's, along with some more contemporary pieces, in a lively, enjoyable, and upbeat way. The group performs at public parks, mall stages, clubs, retirement homes, and other venues in the greater Seattle area.
