This is a 40-minute introduction to the Japanese tea ceremony, also known as Chanoyu or Chado, held at the Shoseian Tea House in the Seattle Japanese Garden. Hosted by Tankokai, the Seattle chapter of Urasenke, the experience emphasizes harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility in a traditional roji garden setting.
