Chado Urasenke Tankokai Seattle Association is the Seattle chapter of Chado Urasenke Tankokai, the membership organization for practitioners of Urasenke Chado (the Way of Tea).We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting practitioners of Chado Urasenke as well as individuals interested in the study and appreciation of Chado—the Way of Tea—throughout the greater Seattle area. Our mission is to foster understanding, practice, and cultural exchange rooted in the Urasenke tradition, promoting the spirit of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility that defines the Japanese tea ceremony.
