The Studio at SAM: Print Shop
The Seattle Art Museum's fourth floor becomes an open studio with a print shop where you can watch artists work, ask questions, and make prints to take home. There are also artist talks, family activities, and a lounge. The space changes over time as new artists and visitors contribute.

    Fulgencio Lazo

    Fulgencio Lazo is an Oaxacan American artist whose abstract paintings, prints, sculptures, and installations explore cultural identity, migration, and memory through Zapotec visual traditions. Born in Oaxaca and based between Seattle and Oaxaca since 1990, he has presented over 50 solo exhibitions internationally and founded Grupo Cultural Oaxaqueño to promote Oaxacan music, dance, and culture.
