Kathya Alexander is a writer from the American South whose work explores the Civil Rights Movement through short stories and speculative fiction in verse. Her debut novel in verse, Keep A'Livin', published in April 2024, follows an ordinary Negro family during the Civil Rights era.
Old Man of the Woods is the ethereal electro-pop project of Seattle-based musician and multimedia artist Miranda Elliott. She blends intimate vocals, hypnotic harmonies, swirling synths, and atmospheric production, often creating immersive audiovisual performances and installations that explore memory, ephemerality, and the boundaries between individual and environment.
