Paul E. Nelson is a poet, interviewer, and literary activist from Seattle engaged in a 20-year bioregional cultural investigation of Cascadia. He founded the Cascadia Poetics LAB and Cascadia Poetry Festival, and has published multiple books of poetry and essays including A Time Before Slaughter, an epic poem about Auburn, Washington.
