Jiří Kylián is a Czech contemporary dance choreographer born in 1947, considered one of the greatest in Czech history. He served as Artistic Director of Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) from 1976 to 1999, creating nearly 100 works including Symphony of Psalms, Stamping Ground, Dream Time, and Silent Cries that are performed worldwide. His style explores the limitations and capabilities of space, body movement, and contrasts, blending contemporary dance with multimedia artistry.
