AUTHOR BOOK CLUB | Elaine Culbertson, “Mamaleh” Memoir

Author Elaine Culbertson presents her memoir “Mamaleh” in a virtual book-club-style conversation for Yom Hashoah. The book weaves together her mother Dora Freilich’s recollections as a Holocaust survivor with Culbertson’s own reflections on growing up in a family shaped by that trauma. The event is hosted by the Stroum Jewish Community Center.
