Early Music Seattle presents Haitham Haidar: Zaytoun

Tenor Haitham Haidar leads Zaytoun, a project pairing Baroque arias by Monteverdi, Purcell, and Bach with traditional Arabic songs, plus spoken poetry from Gibran Khalil Gibran's The Prophet. The performance at Good Shepherd Center highlights connections between Baroque and Arabic music through instrumentation and improvisation.
