January SJCC Book Club: “Always Carry Salt”

The SJCC Book Club discusses Samantha Ellis's memoir 'Always Carry Salt,' about preserving Judeo-Iraqi Arabic and the culture of her Iraqi Jewish family. It's a chance to talk about language, tradition, and how to pass on heritage without the trauma of displacement.
