Aseda Safoa Bekoe-Sakyi is a musician, composer, songwriter, and visual artist currently based in Seattle, WA. She is passionate about telling stories of people and experiences through many vibrant mediums of artistic expression. Though she is primarily a songwriter and vocalist, she also greatly enjoys work in composing, filmmaking, dance, and photography. Aseda received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Double Emphasis in Composition and Production from Seattle Pacific University. From a very young age, Aseda has had an imagination that has spurred her creativity throughout her life. As she grew as a musician, writer, and woman, her fascination with the human experience and complex emotional phenomena such as love and grief became the central focus of her musical storytelling.
