Jen Ayers is a vocal dynamo, pianist, songwriter, playwright and recording artist. She and her partner, guitarist Gray Ayers, formed original bands Honey Tongue and Fedora, playing thousands of shows across the U.S., and releasing 4 albums. Jen followed up her debut solo CD Every Day Is A Parade, with SHe Said, a concept album and theatrical production about gender identity and transition, encompassing Ayers’ signature blend of piano-driven 70’s soul/pop meets rock-n-roll with soaring vocals - a nod to classic rock operas (The Wall, Tommy) & gender-bending musicals (Hedwig). The SHe Said show hit the stage January 2026 for a 16 show run at Seattle's Intiman Theatre, breaking ticket sale records and garnering rave reviews. Directed by Allison Narver and performed by Jen and an all-star band: RL Heyer. Kathy Moore, Richard Davidson, Melissa Montalto and Geoff Reading, SHe Said plans to tour and bring it's message of love, acceptance and open heartedness to cities across the country.
