Lauren Babic is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and recording artist known for her dynamic vocal range and versatility across multiple genres, mostly the rock and heavy metal sphere. Her music has amassed over 60 million streams on Spotify and over 100 million video views on YouTube across 200+ song releases, including originals and covers. She is the front-woman of 3 bands: Red Handed Denial (Toronto-based metal), CrazyEightyEight (International post-hardcore), and Skylimit (International hard rock). Her extensive range of vocal styles, from melodic and powerful singing to intense screaming, has allowed her to also collaborate across many other genres including EDM, R&B, rap, and pop. Often referred to as the "Ed Sheeran of metal" by her peers, Lauren knows no collaborative bounds and continues to bridge the gap between the traditional music industry and the content creator world. As a self-made independent artist, Lauren prides herself on her organic growth and authenticity, resisting societal and industry pressures. She is also a dedicated educator, with a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelors of Education degree from Nipissing University.
