Gabrielle Bates is a writer, visual artist, and creative producer from Birmingham, Alabama, now based in Seattle. She is the author of Judas Goat (Tin House, 2023) and works across poetry, poetry comics, and socially engaged art that investigates political and supernatural thresholds of place.
