Eirik Johnson
Eirik Johnson (b. 1974) is a Seattle-based photographic artist whose conceptually-grounded work examines the intersections of contemporary environmental, social, and cultural issues in America and abroad. His practice employs various modes of presentation from photobooks to experiential photo and sound-based installations, exploring the marks and connections formed in the relationship between landscape and human activity. Johnson's work is held in major collections including SFMOMA, the International Center of Photography, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and he has received numerous awards including a Fulbright Fellowship, the Santa Fe Prize, and the Neddy Award.Browse all performers
