Rick Barot
Rick Barot is an American poet and educator born in the Philippines in 1969 who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the author of five collections of poetry including Moving the Bones (2024), The Galleons (2020), and Chord (2015), and has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Stanford University. He directs the Rainier Writing Workshop, a low-residency MFA program at Pacific Lutheran University, and serves as poetry editor for New England Review.Browse all performers
