Sheena is a true Filipina-American, classically trained vocalist and pianist. She has been singing karaoke at family parties from a very young age. Her [tiger] parents helped to hone her musical ear by *encouraging* her to play classical piano for many years as a kid. After high school, she focused more on singing. In college at MIT she sang with an a cappella group, the Muses. After college she expanded her repertoire by singing with an 8-piece jazz band in Boston. In medical school at the University of Michigan she sang lead with a pop/rock cover band named Saturday Night Palsy. Residency at the University of Washington brought her to Seattle in 2013. While in residency, she sang with the band, Ever Leaf. When she’s not singing, she is either chasing her young children, or working as an anesthesiologist at Virginia Mason. Phil has a Bachelor in music and has been part of the Seattle Music Scene since moving to Seattle in 1992. He started out backing up the singing wait staff on the Spirit of Puget Sound “Ooh Spirit!!”. From there he moved up to playing In the Mood at the Captain’s Cocktail Party on Carnival Ecstasy, Jubilee, and Holiday. Once back in Seattle again he spent the next 10 years playing the blues with The Big Time Bluesman Isaac Scott, Kimball & The Fugitives, and Stickshift Annie. From there it was on to playing Muckleshoot and Tulalip with The Goods, That 80’s Show, and Gold Digger. Nowadays Phil has embraced his inner-computer nerd and is spending his days building software. However, he still enjoys playing out on occasion with musican folks like The Beat Project. Brian has a Masters in music and has been playing bass for over 4 decades. Brian has played just about every style from Jazz & Blues to top 40 and Funk, including a stint in a Dixie-land band playing tuba.
