Thrown into Exile is a metal band from Los Angeles, California, delivering a powerful and emotionally charged blend of melodic, death and groove metal. Since forming in 2011, the band has built a reputation for combining crushing heaviness with soaring melodies, crafting songs that are both aggresive and cathartic. After gaining early attention with their self-titled debut EP and a slot on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, Thrown into Exile quickly cemented their place in the modern metal scene. With full-length releases like Safe Inside (2016) and II: Illusion of Control (2020), the band has continued to evolve. More than just a metal band, Thrown into Exile aims to connect to it's listeners on a deeper, more personal level. Through their lyrics they explore themes of grief, isolation, loss, and personal transformation.
